The village of Meols is on the northern coast of the Wirral, Merseyside. Vikings who arrived on the shores from Scandinavia and used as a port to access the mainland gave the name Melr, which became Melas which translates literally as Sand Dunes in Old Norse, after a further evolution, today we are in Meols. Indeed a short walk from our park and before arriving at the waters edge on the beach you will come to the sand dunes, a popular bird watching and walking site.

The Irish Sea has been a main supplier of local industry for the village, providing a fishing and yachting strong hold to north west of Merseyside, used for both by visitors from all over the world for leisure purposes. This idyllic location is the perfect get a way retreat for those who love peace and tranquillity and the great outdoors without being to far away from the attractions of major cities.
